We work with a national network of vetted bakers, so all you have to do is place your custom order, upload your designed graphic, and relax while we take care of (literally) everything else but the eating.

Our headquarters (where we handle order processing and printing) is in Hudson Valley, NY (yes, we enjoy the incredible view!) Our vetted, independently-owned bakers operate across the United States.

And if we don’t already have an “in-network” baker in your zipcode, we do the legwork of finding one. No such thing as “Sorry, we aren’t available in your area!”

We work with exceptional independent bakers across the county. To be a part of our baker’s network, they must undergo a vetting process that ensures they meet all requirements and regulations based on their federal and state laws.

The process of ordering with Say It In Frosting is beautifully simple:

Step 1 Browse: Visit our menu to choose between a cake, cookie, or cupcake

Step 2 Customize: Use our quick-select menu to customize your size, shape, flavor, and filling.

Step 3 Decorate: Upload a high-resolution version of your desired graphic (it can be a .png, .tiff, or .jpeg—we recommend a DPI of 600px)

Step 4 Relax: Our headquarters receives your order, finds your baker, converts your graphic into edible assets, and works with your baker to complete your order.

Step 5 Celebrate: Say hello to delicious, beautifully custom-printed desserts that will wow your crowd—or just a special someone!

Every order is lovingly hand-packed by the independent bakery preparing your order. If the baker doesn’t offer delivery services, we work with a 3rd party service.

We recommend a minimum delivery time of 10 days on average. However, for corporate clients, same-day and next-day delivery options are available at an additional charge. Visit this page to learn more.

An edible image is a graphic file (.png, .jpeg, .tiff, etc) printed onto specially designed edible image sheets. This process requires a specialized edible printer (we use a Icing Images).

Edible image sheets allow highly detailed and colorful graphics (anything from a logo to a scene from your favorite film) to layer on top of cakes, cookies, and cupcakes.

There are two common types of edible image sheets:

• Icing Sheets: Made of a thin layer of white icing on plastic-backed paper (this backing is what lets the icing sheet pass through the special printing machine. Some, but not all icing sheets are vegan-friendly.

• Wafer Paper: Made of potato starch, water, and oil. It is vegan and vegetarian friendly.

At Say It in Frosting, we use Icing Images edible image sheets.
